Fall 2011 - Expedition on Flickr.
A beautiful photo of our beautiful Greenpeace Semester fall class as they round out their semester with an expedition to New Mexico. Here they stand before Shiprock, one of the Navajo’s holy sites. Many of the roads surrounding this monument were paved with uranium waste dust from the ore that was mined just miles away.
We’re so proud of our students and can’t wait to witness the change they make when they return to their campuses! They’ve spent 12 amazing weeks training with Greenpeace and we know they will become great leaders for the environment.
